Tenby
You can’t come to Pembrokeshire without visiting the picturesque town of Tenby. A short 10 mile drive from South View its top of our recommended places to visit with its beautiful beaches, boutique shops and quality dining its not one to be missed. If you don’t fancy driving, you can catch the train from Pembroke train station which is around a 20 minute train journey.
Saundersfoot
Similarly to Tenby, Saundersfoot in another picturesque seaside village with stunning views, shops and eateries. This is around 14 miles from south view and definitely worth a visit.
Angle Bay
West Angle bay is in our opinion the best child friendly beach, it is around 8 miles from South View. It has convenient parking right on the beach, a great cafe (Wavecrest) who offer
delicious lunches, icecreams and childrens toys etc. It is a fairly sheltered beach and great if you fancy a swim!
East angle bay
East Angle bay offers a stoney inlet perfec t for skimming stones, a wall to drop a crab line and watch the boats from the comfort of a perfectly positioned rustic pub, The Old Point House, they offer great local produce with a relaxed atmosphere. There is also an onsite street food van which does excellent seafood and great local ales, always worth a visit if your in the area.
Also worth noting they are the original creater of Barti Rum, highly recommend!
Freshwater West
A simply stunning beach around 5 miles from South View, especially for surfers. This is great if you want to catch a sunset. One of the harry potter films was filmed here along with numerous others. There is usually a nice coffee van which parks here and is always great to have an explore through the dunes. Be wary though this beach is not great for swimming due to rip currents.
Freshwater East
A beautiful beach around 5 miles from South View, ideal for a nice stroll or a dip in the water. This beach is great if you want to catch a sunrise. A secluded bay which is safe to swim and good for a day on the beach with the kids. There is a pub/restaurant just up off the beach (Jacks) which serves delicious pub meals.
Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo
Visit Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo for your next family day out. It is awarded Wales' biggest independent visitors attraction and rightly so. Get up close to farm animals in the Jolly Barn, take a ride on the tractor and trailer and enjoy the fun of the fair in the vintage fairground. Then walk around the Zoo animals and play on the many different indoor and outdoor play areas.
The Dinosaur Park Tenby
There's lots of fun to be had at this dinosaur themed play park. Walk around the dino trail, bounce on trampolines and trim trail high ropes, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, skiddy cars, tubey rides and much more.

Stackpole Inn
The Stackpole Inn is known for its excellent food, particularly locally sourced seafood, fresh ingredients, and a variety of Welsh specialties. It's a great spot for foodies, especially those looking to enjoy a hearty, traditional meal in a cozy and welcoming setting.
Wavecrest Angle
A short drive from South View Hundleton, Wavecrest at West Angle Bay, is in a truly unique beachside location, with fantastic views over the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline and out to the open sea.
Cafe Rose
Delicious Food & Coffee: Cafe Rose is known for serving a variety of tasty dishes, from homemade cakes and pastries to hearty breakfasts and light lunches. Their coffee is often praised, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxing coffee break or a meal.
The Highgate Inn, Hundleton
The Highgate is the nearest local pub to South View. Set in a small village, it has a friendly local vibe. It is modern and spacious inside with a sports bar and restuarant area. They are also Dog friendly which is always a great option.
